Dear Rabbi Czapnik,
I wanted to thank you for the inspirational and practical drasha (sermon) you gave this morning. Your words really resonated with me, and I found myself applying the “I have a choice” mindset almost immediately. Later in the day, I got caught in the rain and instead of feeling frustrated or upset about my wet wig, I chose to enjoy the experience and not let it bother me. When other ladies saw me and expressed sympathy, I was able to make light of the situation and even make a joke about needing to have my wig done again soon.
I am grateful for the guidance and wisdom you provide, both through your sermons and in our conversations. You truly have a gift for connecting with people and helping them find meaning and purpose in their lives. Thank you for all that you do for our community, and for being such an important part of my own journey.
